When dark forces threaten the Dream and those within, it takes Courage to stand up to them. Those who worship courage are usually warriors who stand up for others who might not be able to defend themselves or have defended others in the past. Most other adventurers who head into the unknown also revere the aspect of Courage. This is probably one of the most well-known aspects of the Dreamer, as it had been put to the test during the age of the Nightmare-Bringer. This is due to Courage being the bitter foe of Fear, one of the Dreamer’s darker aspects and one of the Nightmare-Bringer’s greatest strengths.

Dogma
Fear is in the hearts of all and, in truth, cannot be completely destroyed. Worshippers of Courage know that it is not the absence of Fear, but the ability to overcome it. Also, it is not merely putting one’s own life on the line for a just cause, but to move forward with conviction, never wavering from a determined course unless it would do greater harm to keep going. Those struck by fear should be shown the power of Courage as inspiration. Those who spread the terror of Fear shall find themselves on the blade of Courage. Those who are bold will soon find great fortune in their lives.

Clergy and Temples
Knightly orders are most often homes to Courage’s worship, though independent temples are not uncommon. Most of these temples are often homes to a regimen of knights and fighters. Clerics of Courage are often trained in martial combat, or have previously fought in wars and adventures. The clergy of Courage is known for having the largest regiment of paladins as compared to other orders.
